Core Scan – Making Role Fit Visible
Core Scan
The Core Scan is a discreet, professional assessment used at moments where important decisions must be made about appointments, vacancies or existing roles.
Based on the internationally recognised LPA® and Work-Level frameworks, it makes visible whether a role can truly be carried by the person expected to take it on.
This Is For You If
you are considering an appointment or promotion
a vacancy is difficult to fill
a strong person keeps struggling in a role
you feel "something does not fit" but cannot clearly explain why
intuition alone no longer feels sufficient for such an important decision
This is not a generic leadership test.
It is a moment of alignment.

Why the Core Scan?
Many organisational problems are not competence problems, but placement problems.
The Core Scan helps you to:
understand what the role truly requires
understand what the person can naturally carry
see where mismatch, overload or friction may appear
make better decisions before problems occur
No judgement.
No typology that puts you in a box.
Only insight that continues to work long after the session.
Six Dimensions — One Coherent Profile
The LPA® maps your leadership across six interrelated dimensions:
-
Decision & management style
-
Working rhythm
-
Learning style
-
Personal qualities
-
Conflict approach
-
Team interaction
Together, they form a compass for professional choices and leadership behaviour.
Beyond the Individual — Teams & Boards
The Core Scan is often used by organisations and boards when appointments or role clarity affect more than one person.
It reveals:
-
collective strengths
-
blind spots
-
shared stress reactions
This creates a common language — without blame — and often leads to faster, more trust-based decision-making.
Example
A management team discovered that under pressure several members shifted into the same controlling reflex. Important signals were missed.
Once this pattern became visible, agreements changed. Within weeks, communication improved and decisions became both faster and more grounded.
Tailored formulas are available for organisations, including team debriefs and integration with existing leadership or change programmes.
